Rick Todd -- President -- 967-7737
Rick Todd grew up in Kent, CT, attended the University of Connecticut, with a brief hiatus in Santa Fe, NM. He then moved to Chicago, IL, starting work as a computer consultant with clients including the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Health Marketing Inc. There he met his now wife Diana on a training ride for the AIDS Ride (#4, from Minneapolis to Chicago). They moved to Vail, CO about a year later, and lived there for approximately 7 years. They both worked as software developers for Resort Technology Partners, LLC. RTP then sent Rick to a new client, Colonial Williamsburg to do some training, and he found his dream job there. They relocated here shortly thereafter, in spring/summer of 2007. They love the area, Colonial Williamsburg, and most of all This Neighborhood! They had their first child, a daughter named Harper, in September, 2008.
Richard Schauffler--Vice President -- 259-2024
Richard and his wife Monica, and their son Zach moved to First Colony from California in 2003. They appreciated the warm greeting received from the new neighbors with whom they shared chainsaws and food after Hurricane Isabel. Richard is the Director of Research at the National Center for State Courts, and Monica is a librarian at Lafayette High School. Zach attends Berkeley Middle School They enjoy biking on the Capitol to Capitol bike path, canoeing and kayaking from their back yard on Shellbank Creek, and sailing out of the First Colony marina, and can always be found floating in the Fool's Regatta and freezing with their neighbors in the annual First Colony Polar Plunge.

He and his wife; Amy moved to Heritage Landing in 1993. They have 3 children; Whit 9, Sam 16 and Maddie 18. John is in local Real Estate and Amy is a School Psychologist for Hampton City Schools. They enjoy all the amenities in First Colony and are avid boaters.
Dick Flood --Treasurer
Pete and his wife Shirley moved here from Seattle in 2001. At the time, they had two sons. They now have four! Jesse is 10, Cody is 8, Brady is 5, and Toby is almost 3. Pete is a Real Estate Appraiser, doing both commercial and residential work

Brian and his wife Maureen have lived in First Colony on Jordans Journey since 1991. Zach, their eight year old son, is in third grade at Clara Byrd Baker. Brian is a Principal Research Consultant at the National Center for State Courts. Maureen is retired from the NCSC. We all enjoy everything First Colony has to offer.
Megan Schultz
Meagan, her husband Marc, and 2-year old daughter Annabelle moved to First Colony in the spring of 2008. Meagan is currently a stay at home mom and previously worked as a chemical engineer and as a financial analyst. Meagan and Marc are expecting their second daughter in March of 2010 and are looking forward to raising their family here.

Judy Hutter and her husband Jimmy moved to Heritage Landing in July, 2008 from Lynchburg, VA. They love everything about our area, especially the closeness of this community and the activities at the river. Between them they have 6 children and 5 grandchildren, so are quite busy with family! Judy is employed by the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians.
Shellbank Woods--

Amy moved to Shellbank Woods in 2007, from St. Paul, Minnesota. Amy is a Systems Engineer for Travelers Insurance. Sometimes she may be seen jogging with her fiance John and his son Chris. She also enjoys biking, canoeing, water skiing, and flying - she's on her way to becoming a private pilot.
John Murphy
John, who is originally from Boston, and his wife Julie, who is originally from San Diego, moved to Shellbank Woods in October 1991. John retired in August 2009 as the senior civilian counsel from the US Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe. He is also a retired Army JAG officer. He currently serves of the board of directors of the Heritage Humane Society. Julie, who is also retired but who occasionally serves as a pet sitter for Critter Sitters, heads up the neighborhood Beautification Committee and can frequently be seen toiling away at one of the neighborhood entrances or while walking their miniature schnauzer Jazz in and around First Colony. Their individual or collective interests include kayaking, gardening, golf and travel.
Board meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 at the Clubhouse.
