Virginia Capital Trail - 51.7 multi-use (bike, walk, etc.) , fully-paved biking/walking trail adjacent to our community running through 4 jurisdictions (City of Richmond, Henrico County, Charles City County, and James City County) with lots of attractions along the way.

Colonial Williamsburg – 301-acre historic area, Art Museum, world’s largest living history museum, Fifes and Drums, Archeology, trades, period restaurants.

Historic Jamestowne, Jamestown Settlement and Jamestown Island – America’s first permanent English settlement on the James River, Archeology, galleries, glasshouse, 3 recreated 1607 ships, walk/bike/car ride around island with grass picnic areas.

Yorktown – Battlefield location, village, beach, marina (from cruise ships to colonial style boats).

American Revolution Museum at Yorktown - learn the story of the nation’s founding, 180-degree surround screen and dramatic special effects.

Colonial Parkway – Drive 23 miles through scenic tree-lined cobble stone road connecting Virginia's Historic Triangle — Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.

Busch Gardens - Rides, theme and show park & events that entertain everyone.

Water Country USA – Great Waterpark (opens in May).

Liberty Ice Pavilion – Ice Skating. Open November to February, including holidays. 

Go Ape - Treetop Ziplining, team building.

Musacrelle Museum of Art - Located at Lamberson Hall on the campus of William & Mary.
